Programme Highlights

Integrated Learning: Combine classroom instruction with hands-on work experience: 2 days in the classroom, 3 days working each week with a Manufacturing business (paid).

Industry-Aligned Curriculum: Developed in collaboration with Waikato industry experts to ensure you gain relevant and in-demand skills.

Supportive Environment: Benefit from mentorship from both education and industry.

Please express interest if you:

  • Seek a fulfilling career in the manufacturing sector
  • Are looking for a practical and financially sustainable education pathway
  • Are reliable, punctual, willing to learn and motivated to do well in the manufacturing sector
  • Are 16 years or over

NCEA Level 2 and at least a restricted driving licence are preferred but not essential.

This work-integrated course is free if you qualify for fees free subsidy. Course starts in 2025.
