WECA Employers are invited to open their doors to the Engineers of the Future, and their teachers, for Engineering in Action 2023 on Tuesday May 16th. As the first EIA since 2021, we’re aiming for a record number of schools and businesses, so please get involved!
EIA23 is an opportunity for keen Years 12 and Year 13 students to learn about careers in our lucrative and vibrant engineering sector – a partnership between Wintec – Te Pūkenga and WECA. Students will tour Wintec’s engineering facilities, visit two local engineering firms, and learn more about the different specialisations within engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical, and more).
Employers, this will involve hosting two groups of students through your business with a morning visit at 9.30am to 11am and afternoon visit at 1pm to 2.30pm.
