The voice of engineering in the Waikato
Joining WECA is an opportunity to support an organisation actively promoting Waikato as New Zealand's Centre of Engineering Excellence.
To foster a vibrant and sustainable engineering sector by attracting and developing engineers for the future.
As a member of WECA, the Waikato Engineering Careers Association, your company belongs to New Zealand’s only engineering careers association. WECA is known throughout the region for working to combat skills shortages by intensifying interest in the sector with excellent connections, communications and a number of well attended events and activities throughout the year.
WECA represents engineering across the board, including mechanical, plastics, electrical and civil.
Membership gives your company a voice in shaping the industry's future and a return on investment by making key connections with other companies and educators, a voice at central and local government, being part of external communications and activities promoting engineering as a career, and having input into education, training and career paths.
